M-Net launched Trackers in October 2019. This was their biggest local production in their history and was dubbed “The Biggest Thing on M-Net Since M-Net”.
The brief was to create two exceptional launch events for this show.
This consisted of an internal event to launch the show to all staff and give them the opportunity meet the cast and hear their filming experiences.
The second event was created as a premiere of the first two episodes to the film and media industry. This event had to create talkability about the series and wow guests.
WHAT WE DID
We managed both the Staff Launch event and the Pre-Screening of the show to key business stakeholders, the media, talent and select DStv subscribers.
Each activation had a detailed set of requirements which we managed in conjunction with the client.
From communications to branding, technical, decor, entertainment and hospitality, we wove the tale together.
Feature by the Ndlovu Youth Choir was a highlight for sure.
THE CONNECTION CREATED
Guests were able to engage with the cast and Deon Meyer at both of these two events. This is something that is not always possible with productions of this scale.
