THE BRIEF
kykNET hosted the 10th Fiëstas Awards. The Award function took place at the Artscape Theatre in Cape Town. Fiëstas was a live broadcast on kykNET channel 144 on 9 February 2020.
MASIWELA assisted the team with creating the pre-and post-show events that surround the Fiestas live broadcast. The brief was all encompassing from the digital invite to the onsite management and set up of all suppliers and event elements.

THE CONNECTION CREATED
A live blue carpet was created using a fully branded wall where guests would pose in front of for interviews and pictures. A surprise element came in when a gloved hand would appear next to the guest handing them a glass of champagne as their welcome drink. Décor was elegant and on theme with a touch of glitz and gold. The unique 10th year Fiestas logo was created and incorporated throughout different elements in décor pieces. All catering was worked to be light, delicious and delivered with exceptional service. Entertainment was unique and catered towards a more artistic crowd. The DJ included live saxophone and drums solos to keep the crowd happy.
