THE BRIEF
The Ghoemas is a yearly music awards show hosted by kykNET.
MASIWELA assisted with the pre- and post-show facilitation for the seventh Ghoema Awards which was held at Emperors Palace in Johannesburg.
As part of the brief, we had to ensure that all the suppliers’ requirements were met to successfully deliver on the event as well as look after hospitality.
The theme of the awards show was “Soundwaves” and MASIWELA had to creatively fuse this into all aspects of the show that we oversaw.
WHAT WE DID
We managed the pre and post show event components of the event. We transformed an empty warehouse into a spectacular venue for 900 pax. There was a range of set-ups used to set the scene.
The registration and ticketing was key with the high number of guests attending the event. Our team of suppliers ensured that this ran seamlessly.
Food service comprised of buffet and waiter service. The menu was designed to speak to the theme and this small detail made a big impact.
It was a very special event to be a part of.

Was bringing together a multi sensory event experience for all guests. They loved it and celebrated the occasion in style!
